It is Monday but I am joining Terri’s Sunday Stills challenge, which theme is texture.
First because I thought about her when taking this photo, as she is an avid windsurfer, who also enjoys her SUP a lot. And secondly, because Debbie’s post on texture motivated me to join as well.

Lucile, your photos representing texture really capture the feeling of water and sky. Beautiful blending of the elements. The image of the bird and surfer really bring the eye into the photograph to look and examine.

Maggie, thank you for visiting the blog and taking the time to leave a considerate comment. I so much enjoy hearing the perceptions about my photos from the eyes of others. I always learnt from it. Thanks!

The textures are indeed nice, but I love the colors as well – the way all the hues blend in horizontal layers, broken up only by the SUPers and the lone bird.

My eyes were hypnotized by the horizontal layers, Lexie, made by the different colours. Thanks!

So happy to see you joining in with Terri’s Sunday Stills too Lucile. Your photos are lovely and do fit in with Terri’s SUP lifestyle. Thanks for linking in my post too, and for your kind words, that’s very kind of you 😊

I feel like people are talking about me online, LOL! Lucile, I’m so excited you linked your gorgeous photos to Sunday Stills and managed to think of my penchant for SUPing! I would like to try to paddle waves like that someday.

They were already talking about you, Terri, but all is good stuff! I try, as much as I can overcome my slow-motion mode towards blogging, to join your cosy and welcoming challenge. Thanks for hosting it!
Those waves…the wind was the real thing, at force 6 BFT that day!

A perfect Autumn day indeed. What a stunning image. I’m glad to have finally arrived at a latitude with four seasons (albeit it is Spring here) and deep, rich and longer sunsets. You’ve inspired me to go looking for sunsets (as soon as this blow goes through and the sun is shining again.
