For this week’s photo challenge Ben Huberman proposed that we share our personal interpretation of something we appreciate despite or even because of its short shelf life.
I had a few ideas for photos that fit the challenge. Sometimes I catch a fleeting glimpse of a scene that feels just perfect and luckily I have my camera with me. These were taken in those moments.
I like coloured soap bubbles; invariably, when everyone stares at them in awe. There is some magic attracting children and adults to them. It is no magic though, as the colours will only appear with the interference of light reflecting off the front and back surfaces of the thin soap film. If light shines onto a bubble, it changes colour.
And how about a child waiting with anticipation for the final touch of her ice cream and then enjoying its delicious taste? I feel the same way.
Hope you enjoyed.
