“It is easy to see the glow but hard to recognize the awakening of silence.”
― Dejan Stojanovic, The Sun Watches the Sun
This week’s photo challenge asks us to explore ‘glow’: “The Golden Hour is the time of day before sunset or after sunrise, when the light is soft and glowing.”
Photo made in Mallorca, Spain, right before sunset.
This is so beautiful and serene Lucile 🙂

It felt like that, Su. I was shooting the sunset when I noticed the woman alone there, and the red light on her face, as if the sun was watching and warming her too.

It was indeed, Jane. I was looking at the direction of the sun, like the woman, then looked around and was so happy to see her, and make some photos. Luck. My husband was with me and still regrets his focus on the sun only, as he didn’t see her.

Beautiful red golden glow to the photo, Lucile – full of serenity. I just want to stand there, staring out and mediate…in silence, feel the peace within. 😀 I’m intrigued by the quote and the concept of the ‘awakening of silence’.

If you click on the link to the author, you may find the intriguing explanation about his quote. I took it as allowing oneself to be vulnerable. But that speaks more about me.
