I love the selfies in Porugal–two for one, Lucile! The pictures from Dachau…so hard to look at. They are wonderful in B&W.

I liked all the photos, but the first, looking out over the street was most impressive. The light from the setting sun colouring the walls, the near monochrome of the street, and the color of the sun itself were striking. It was a picture of a part of a building from time past, built with skilled craftsmanship and artistic skill, the modern street scene, and the sun itself from an unknown date of long ago. A time sandwich.

WOW…now you’re just showing off, creep!! I love the one from Dacau. Were you there…oh, duh. My next post (soon) is from Terezin, another concentration camp in Czech Republic. Chilling stuff. I like that you have such an array…very cool takes on the prompt!! See…you are da man, woman!

Great framing photographs, Lucille. I think they are all telling a story. The one that grabbed my attention was the concentration camp photo and the archway! Good work.

I’m no photographer Lucile, and I am amazed of the “photographers eye” to be able to take the ordinary and make them into extraordinary with your skill and expertise. The darkness at Dachau with the light at the top gave me shivers.
