He has a distant look in his eyes, like waiting for the bus, or hoping to see someone he is waiting for. Love this, Lucille, great capture! He has such great bone structure–very photogenic 🙂

He was just sitting on a bench, not even noticing the park and the people around him. Maybe he was waiting for someone to return, after leaving him alone after a big fight! Thanks!

Maybe just contemplating, Lucile. Lovely shot!

it just seems as though his eyes are not focused outward…so I’m going to go with “an answer.”

Sounds like a great option. He seems very inwardly focused and disappointed.

Seemed to be focused with a bit skepticism in his sights…monochrome helps strengthen the drama.

He does, Sally. You’re a great photographer and your eyes don’t miss a bit.

Once again your words exist in print, but simply do not seem to apply to me. I will try my best to absorb the depth of your comments.

It’s interesting to read that Sally.
It may be unreal to you and it’s ok. I just wanted to say that reading what comes from you pen and seeing what comes out of lens, entices me and I appreciate the person who created that.

Lucile, I’m grateful that cyberspace has introduced us.

Likewise, Sally. I have been privileged for the opportunity.
Social media hasn’t been a bad experience so far and I think it’s a matter of making the right connections and cultivating it. Let’s stay the course.

Of course, Lois! That’s why he’s so upset, wondering why you’re so late…hurry up!

I think he is watching someone he once had feelings for walk away.

We thought exactly the same! I’m quite sure that’s what happened.

“What the…BEEP? What is that hanging outside that window way over there? Is that…it is…it’s red panties!”

Haha Baddie! It can only be that, right? All photos I posted after the red panties are part of the story, isn’t it? Except that they’re from totally different places. I’m curious about the kid’s photo I posted today. What are you going to say….

Right…everything from now on is about red panties as far as I can tell…

Is that true? I have a photo of another open window, curtains flying through it…shall we do that one together?

Wouldn’t it be easier if you just had another photo of red panties? Kidding.

Hahaha….then I need to go to Italy for a shooting session as there will be plenty of opportunities. But the other photo will inspire your Bad side of Badfish as well. 😉

I kind of hope he is thinking about me, because he is very handsome :-). All kidding aside..another brilliant street photograph. To me, it has a bit of sadness about it, like he is watching life pass him by, or his best girl walk out of his life, or waiting for something that is late and will never come.

I also hope he starts thinking about you because it looked like the girl walked away from him. Really!

Very good shot Lucile. I think he’s a little annoyed, or disappointed.

Thanks Desley! I go for both options. He really looked like angry and not able to overcome it…whatever it was.

I think he is waiting for someone, maybe friends, maybe someone he loves. He looks like he’s eager for them to arrive though, and maybe a little worried… Ooh, these do make me think. 🙂

I thought that someone had abruptly left him there alone after an argument and he was very disappointed.

Definitely not altogether happy, but not angry either. Resigned?

I thought he was very angry. I was very close to him at the park, and could observe him for a while. But after a while he looked resigned indeed.

I think definetely waiting for the bus or tram – that should have come by now…No love in his eyes.

He was sitting on the bench in the park for a long time, with the same expression, seemingly disappointed. I guessed he was angry and discouraged.
