This post goes in response to my friend @desleyjane – Seven Days of Nature challenge.

This is day two to share seven nature shots over seven days and nominate a new person each day. Visit Musings of a Frequent Flying Scientist, Desley’s blog, to enjoy her superb macro shots. Peerless.
I will nominate Sandra at Momma’s Views. Please, feel free to not participate, if you don’t join challenges. But you all can head to her blog to enjoy fresh opinions, diversity, photos, curious discoveries, as well as a lively and engaging community of bloggers led by the fantastic personality of Sandra, who will welcome everyone wholeheartedly.
Hope you enjoy…

If I’m subscribed (I am) I visit. I don’t always comment, especially these days (I’m swamped).

I thought so too. Can you believe that this was the raw file! There was already enough light. The JPG version was so orange…
Thank you. Xx

Wow! Well I don’t take jpg’s anymore. That way I can fit more on a card. Plus I edit everything anyway.

That is a great idea, as I don’t use them either. Silly me! Thanks.

I agree with Jane: calm and serene. I can feel the peace.

Thank you, Janet. It felt like that. Birds flying around was the only noise while I watched the sun rising. Very peaceful.

Oh, these are so soft and serene and peaceful! And yet you can really feel the motion, too – it’s almost like the duck has a little jet blast behind him. He fires up the ignition and takes off like a slow-motion rocket through space/water!
