Today I bring a dried leaf to Sally’s challenge. I shot it with an iphone5 and converted it to monochrome. Here are the two versions.
I am joining Lens and Pens by Sally, who hosts each Monday the Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge. The schedule theme for this week’s challenge is: Macro
Thanks for visiting!
Thanks for bringing such joy to my morning. I am a huge fan of leaves in all their stages, and find great beauty in their finale. Maybe it’s because they still give even in their demise. They turn to soil and nourish the earth. Your macros show that every leaf has its unique qualities. The close up gives the textures their day in the sunlight. Happy Photo Challenge.

I’m so happy with your comment, Sally. I was disappointed because I had no time to prepare my post in advance, and besides that, it was raining the whole day.
I found this lead in the terrace, and that saved me!
Your insightful comment put a smile on my face. Thanks!

I love the detail found in leaves. Your photos are just gorgeous. Look at those veins and the decay. Really cool! ❤

Gosh, Lucile–I don’t have a favorite. This leaf looks lovely both ways–color and B&W. Beautiful.

Beautiful macro, Lucile. I do favor the monochrome; that really brings out the detail so much.

The ‘like’ button ‘had’ to be restored as it was the only way to be able to reblog. I’m in peace with that. 😀
