Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Street Photography

Candid shots sometimes need to be done very fast. There is no time to compose well, as it is all about the story.

Here is one that I had lots of fun to click, despite the quality. I was too close to them but their expression was all that I wanted.

It was a joke, though. No wedding yet!

I am joining Lens and Pens by Sally, who hosts each Monday the Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge.

Shot with an iPhone5 and applied cyanotype filter.

The schedule theme for this week’s challenge is: Challenger’s choice.

 Thanks for visiting!

  1. Fantastic photo, Lucile! You were not too close, this vantage point gives us the immediacy and feel. And then there’s all the background goings on that only adds to it. I can almost hear the sounds in that room. I don’t know about the joke…he looks pretty sincere 🙂

  2. If this couple could see this shot, don’t you know they would want a copy for themselves! It might not be ‘perfect’ but it is absolutely perfect and priceless.

  3. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!!!
Hey, I have a question. Some blogs have a reblog button. Mine does not. I just noticed yours doesn’t either. Do we have to put it on there? I think mine used to have one, because someone reblogged me once.

What do you think? I'd love to hear it all.
