This man was riding his bike early morning, and most likely going to work. Fast. It’s Monday.
Meanwhile, I am on the other side of the canal, fiddling with my camera, while having breakfast and watching the ducks’ search for theirs.
It just felt right to capture his passage, in whatever settings my camera had at that time. I was happy to see the blur. It matches with how most people might feel on a (mundane) Monday morning.
Blurry buried dreams
Monday is in a hurry
Shot dead forever
This post goes to Trablogger Mundane Monday challenge.
This is a challenge created to find beauty in almost everything. The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs. Leave a pingback to his post.
Nice capture, Lucile – just another manic Monday?

It seems an apt pictorial metaphor for your personal Monday challenge. It’s an image with many stories that can be told or imagined.

I think he is a time -traveller. That’s why he is so blurry -his other dimensions are leaking in. 🙂

The blurred cyclist with the horizontal lines in the background make for such a strong image. Great job as usual, Lucile! Happy Monday!

Very cool, Lucile! There’s a sense of those special SciFi effects, where a person is seen to be going faster than he is, and at the same time slower. It’s a great example of a visual relativistic effect.
