I am sharing some photos for the challenge Available Light:From Dusk till Dawn hosted by Nalinki at this blog’s Photo Rehab.
The first set of photos were made in Porto, Portugal. I shot them in the same place, in three different moments, i.e. before, during and after sunset.

I shot the second set of photos during sunrise. It is Amsterdam from my roof terrace, waking up for a new day.

Marvellous shots!

Excellent colours: the ripples of the water were well captured and adds great texture. Overall 10+:)

I guess so, but it’s the photographer’s (your) skill that makes the images shine 🙂

Hey, wait a minute. There’s a “like” button up there. I just clicked it. Have I been away from cybersphere THAT long? This is your post, right? These are lovely shots. I like the tree in the first shot. I like the dark slanting thing and bright clouds above in second. The third one is just simply another prize winner…creep. Love the perspective in the next one. I’m just glad the last one doesn’t have the red bridge in it.

No you didn’t miss anything. I just add sometimes when I post just photos, as many regular readers asked me that so often. I felt I was being too stringent and punishing them because of the ghost followers. I keep forgetting to add it though….
Thank you zillions for liking them. 😉
There wasn’t a red bridge but another spectacular one. I shall post for you very soon,

Great photos as always Lucile. One thing that jumped out at me in these photos in Porto, Portugal and comparing with the cities in Canada is pretty much the absence of street lighting in your photos. And I love this. It makes for great photographs. I am a country bumpkin and I love the night air where you can see the night sky in all it’s glory! 🙂
Thanks for sharing! 🙂

Hi Carl. Thanks! Interesting observation. The old part of the town has enough street lighting but the lighting used is not the white, bright, LED lights.
Amsterdam old center uses the same but we still cannot see the night sky so well because of the surrounding city lights.
Thanks for visiting and have a beautiful day!
