Shadow Recovery

The Imagecraft Bootcamp hosted by Mitch Zeissler simultaneously here and at his blog, gives us weekly challenges to up our game in photography.

Lats week he took us through Shadow Recovery in this post, where you can find all you need to know to recover your images.

I used these two original images to learn the process. I will first show the transformation of the first image:

      1. Nothing from me yet. 😦 I need to get my external drive out and see if there are any photos that I could use. Not sure if I’ll be able to make it out to shoot a sunset/sunrise this week. Everything I have I’ve posted, I think.


    1. Andy, I almost gave up doing this one, as it wasn’t that easy. But I enjoyed learning this technique as it is excellent to rescue shadows. I have taken many more steps before and haven’t achieved the same.
