Hi Justine! Good to see you around! Thank you so much!
I made this last week when returning from a cycle ride, and what a coincidence that it matches with WP’s theme for this week.
Have a lovely day!
Xx

stunning photos, I was wondering at the angles you must have gone all over the place to get them x

Thanks, Justine. Well, you are going in the right direction. LOL. On the floor and using all imagination. xxx

very nice. that’s all i have to say. you removed the “like” button, which would have silenced trite comments such as mine. 🙂

Thank you babe! With or without comments, you’re always very welcome and much appreciated.
But the like button can never be completely removed. Just check again on the reader. It’s there. WP doesn’t allow me to disable it. It’s just gone if you visit the site.

But you won’t be able to tell who “liked” you on the Reader. And liking your stuff is, first and foremost, meant to show you my appreciation.

Are you sure that it doesn’t show in the stats? Thank you so much for being so considerate.

The stats just identify the country of origin. I guess if I’m your only visitor from Thailand, you’ll know it was me. 🙂

Haha good we have an understanding. I can dip in and out of your site and you’ll know I dropped by.

Exactly! Don’t even worry about that! Even if I share with you that I never look at the stats.
Remember this: I followed your blog from the start because I value what you do and want to read it, regardless of what you think of my blog, your comments or likes. I will keep following you even if you never comment or unfollow me because I’m a stubborn no-liker blogger.
You should feel free to come and go and cross or not my blog’s bridge as you wish.
That’s how I feel.

Bridges have always fascinated me, and your captures are some of the reasons. I’m always on the search for another design. You’ve done a stellar job of showing the architectural features that intrigue.

Thank you so much, Hugh. I wasn’t shooting from a boat but very close to the water. I had to do some acrobatic poses though. 😉

WOW! I love it! Is this the same bridge as the header? The photos are really unusual and I like that they are in black and white.

It’s not. This one is in the Amsterdam Rhine canal and the other is Amsterdam city.

There’s a like button trauma? Oh dear. Do tell.
LikeLike
Lol it’s not really a trauma; I just removed it because of ghost likers over populating my notification system and bringing comments all the way down, making me miss to reply to them. This happens because there is a limit for the number of notifications.
One day I got fed up and removed the like button. Real and wonderful followers like you felt it not a good solution but I’m still thinking of a way to solve this.
