Beneath My Feet

I spent my day at home, and as I live in one of the Amsterdam canals, I decided to shoot what was beneath my feet from the pier.

I am  linking to the Weekly Photo Challenge theme: “Today, look down and document the world beneath your feet”

First I shot what is connected to the floating pier.

Then I shot the animals which were around.

I am also linking to the Photo Rehab.

        1. Hallo meisje! Indeed! Summer holidays were enjoyed outside blogging so I’m slowly returning! Glad to hear you had such a good time. Pity it goes so fast!
          I’m fine. Alive and kicking!
I made the pic for you two weeks ago. I’m going to post!

  1. I loved to see the Amsterdam City in some English movies.
From then I have been loving the place.
I dream of visiting the place sometime.
If not I shall see it at-least from the heavens.
You live in Amsterdam and I envy You.
See! so many beautiful things beneath your feet.

    1. Hi Shiva!
I really wish you can visit the city of your dreams one day, and I’ll have the pleasure and honor to be your guide.
I am grateful to live here and appreciate my luck. Your country is very beautiful too! So you’re also lucky and I envy you! 😉

          1. So hot here it is crazy. We are moving to the mountains. The house is up for sale. Colorado here we come! 😀 Your weekend sounds nice!

  2. I LOVE the image gallery of ‘what is connected to the floating pier’ …especially the composition of the line against the colored background in the first, the contrasting colors in the second, and the reflections in the fourth. The second one stands out most of all to me because if I didn’t know what I was looking at, I would think it was a picture of an abstract watercolor painting. Such beautiful color!

What do you think? I'd love to hear it all.
