When I had to walk across a pedestrian bridge called ‘Kijkbuis’, after arriving at the train station Hilversum Media Park in the Netherlands, I was surprised with its beauty.
It was a bright sunny day, around 2pm in the afternoon, and that made the light effects even more interesting.
You have 3 photos and 3 different perspectives.
The first is the original.
The second I edited with increased clarity and vibrancy.
The third has been converted to black and white by using the noir filter.
As usual, click on the photo to enlarge it.
I am joining Lens and Pens by Sally, who hosts each Monday the Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge.
Shot with an iPhone6.
The schedule theme for this week’s challenge is: Design
I am also submitting it to the Photo Rehab.
Looks nicely “Warholish”. Love it!

First, your originals made the post processing even more inviting. Your composition and perspective gave these images a zest that becomes playful with your editing. And the opening shot has a cartoon-like vibe. Happy Photo Challenge.

The bridge was so beautiful, Janet, and the light so perfect that all that was left to me was to play with the depth of field and composition. Thanks.

I love this bridge. How cool!!! The edits and the originals are all fabulous. I would have gone to black and white, but the colour edit is so vibrant – the sky looks amazing through the wall. Gorgeous.

One more to add to your list of subjects. We drama queens love the noir but let’s be honest, the colors are fresh!

First of all the depth of field is great. I love the photo with the noir filter, but my favorite is the middle color one. So much vibrance!

As many already said, what a great subject to photograph! I am always amazed at the camera capabilities of I phones and Samsung (android) phones. The edits are really interesting and look great in the gallery!

These are the best surprises we stumble upon and nothing better than having our little devils with us, as they never disappoint us. Until before the Iphone6 I agreed that Samsung had a better camera, but its has improved a lot. The editing capabilities are still limited but we can use so many other apps, isn’t it? Thanks for commenting my dear!

Thank you! I’m glad this post was useful to you. Just start experimenting with the editing capabilities of your phone, and you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome. You don’t need to know any technique. Just make some choices, for example, applying a a black and white filter, or a more vibrant colorful one, and decide for what your eyes like! There are many more possibilities and you will test them at your pace until you find your taste for image editing. Good luck!
