Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge: Black and White

It was a sunny day with a few clouds. The planes’ contrails added a few more lines to the sky.

As I left this building, I couldn’t help but take this picture.

I am joining Lens and Pens by Sally, who hosts each Monday the Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge.

Photo taken with an iPhone 6 using camera + app. Editing with increased clarity and Black and White noir filter.

The schedule theme for this week’s challenge is: Black And White

  1. What a fascinating photo. The contrails are fascinating and make this image a curious blend of the old in the buildings and the very contemporary.

  2. Wow! That’s one busy sky. Great photo with lots of angles and lines and I love the depth of field with the row of apartments/houses leading the eye down to the end of the frame on the right.

  3. Yikes! What a great perspective. What great contrast. What great lines and angles. What great clouds! I’m tossing my camera, only using my iPhone from now on. But you’re going to have to teach me some of these tricks, lady.

Hey…before, when you posted a Rehab post, I would always get a ping and I would need to “authorize” it. But lately, I haven’t noticed any of those. Did you do something?

    1. Thank you thank you thank you!
I’m humbled by such a compliment.
I want to see your photos!!!
Of course I can share all my little knowledge with you.
I didn’t change anything. My guess is that Pingbacks are not working properly lately. I found out yesterday that some people didn’t get it either.
I was also mentioned somewhere and the lady sent a message to earn me too. However I never got a Pingback though I saw she did it on her post.
