Back to blogging

I have been absent from the blogosphere for a few days, as life got in the way.

I wanted to apologize for not having yet replied to all your comments to my posts, and for not having read your posts either.

I will do my best to catch up with your latest posts.

Have a good week!

    1. Thanks Mara. I do feel bad when I vanish without answering any comment. It’s not nice to not reciprocate kindness and consideration.
You have a point about having a life though. And sometimes there is a lot going on. All is fine.

          1. I just got brutal and stopped following all the people that never comment on my blog. I got tons of emails. I feel better having time for the people who do comment and stay in touch. ❤

      1. Actually, no. We have more talking to do but I think (fingers crossed again) that things will change. Chaplain did not realize how upsetting this has been to me. Thanks so much for asking, Lucile.

      1. Ahhh… I was pretty sure it was a winter shot. Something about the angle of the sun. And of course, the bare trees. 😀 The photo looks so different now on this huge computer screen I’m at temporarily. It really is so very peaceful.

  2. You’re so much better a blogger than I, Lucile! Life often tends to get in the way of blogging, for me, these days, but at least I’m living it 🙂
Good to see you back! 😀

  3. Nice to have you back with us. I understand completely that life is always there to live and blogging has to take a back seat at times. There’s no need to apologise for not responding to comments, well not to me anyway 🙂 You are a prodigious blogger and replier to everything so you deserve to take a break every now and again. Love this photo by the way – it really resonates with me for some reason. Thanks for all your support. X

    1. Thank you so much my dearest Debbie. I do it because I believe that the biggest reward of blogging is the connection with other bloggers. I receive so much support and encouragement from wonderful people like you, and I cannot but reciprocate.
This photo was taken during winter and that’s why the trees are so naked. I had never used it and I’m happy you liked it. Heartfelt thanks! Xxx

  4. That’s how it is. Life happens.
I currently have 30+ unread posts to check out, plus a whole bunch of comments to reply to and to write… I doubt that I’ll be able to catch up on them all. My usual solution when this happens, is to skip everything and delete all the emails in my “unread blogs” folder… 🙂

    1. Sorry @CardinalGuzman I understand that you might be too busy or so, but if you decide to delete mails without responding, please don’t delete mine 🙂

    2. Indeed. Life happens and blogging is just a small part of it. I’m being careful on reducing my activities on the blogosphere otherwise I cannot handle it. I still would like to give back the attention and consideration to those who took the time to read my posts and comment. Just like you always do here. I would hate myself if I would not reciprocate.

      1. I see what you mean, but sometimes the “unread blogs & unanswered comments”-pile just grow too big and then it’s fine to just skip it. Blogging shouldn’t be/become a stress factor.

        1. I felt overwhelmed when I saw the pile of one week unanswered comments. It’s just discouraging. Reading latest posts of my favorite bloggers will be impossible too. I just don’t have time for that.
And because I fully agree with you that blogging is not a place for stress, I’m just doing what’s possible.
          Thanks. Good point.

  5. Life does have a tendency to get in the way of things like writing and blogging. I feel like I’m queen of that one. Welcome back. 🙂

  6. Welcome back, dear Lucile!

I wonder how you can keep this rhythm , I see that ,for you, blogging has become a chore ….!

No te hagas problemas si no llegas a contestarnos a todos , igual te queremos mucho , como ves….
Gracias por tu presencia en la blogosfera , y un montón de abrazos!

    1. Thank you, dear Anna.
Well, I cannot keep the rhythm and will need to reduce the activities here. I have signed up for many challenges plus my own posts, so it is not ideal because I don’t have the whole day to blog.
Thank you so much for the support. I appreciate it really very very much, from my heart.
      Huge hug. ❤
