I was asked by the very talented photographer Karen, from Expressing my Vision (please don’t miss to check her stunning photos) to post four photos that illustrate the four classical elements. “It is believed that they reflect the simplest essential parts and principles of which anything can consist, or upon which the constitution and fundamental powers of everything are based. These four elements are Air, Fire, Water and Earth.”
Here is my response:
WATER
EARTH
AIR
FIRE
This was my response to the Four Elements Photo Challenge. Here are super talented photobloggers that I am inviting to join in the Four Elements Photo Challenge. I should nominate four, but I am breaking the rules. Feel free to join only if you want.
Desleyjane from musingsofafrequentflyingscientist
Justine, from Artistic License of Life
Michelle, from This Melbourne Life
Andy, from Andy Townend
Amy, from Playing with my first DSLR camera
Nalinki, from Angles and Views
Mara, from Mara Eastern
Paula, from Lost in Translation
Cardinal Guzman, from Artishorseshit
The Challenge: Post four photos that illustrate the elements Air, Fire, Water and Earth.
This is supposed to be fun. Don’t worry if you are unable to participate or to nominate four other bloggers.
This one may take a few days, but I will do it. 🙂

Where did you take the Fire photo? In a restaurant kitchen perhaps?

Yes, in a Wok restaurant last Saturday! I needed a fire shot, there we go!
I made several photos of the cooks and they loved it! They have be their emails to send it to them! It was so much fun!

They did! Perhaps the restaurant owner not so much…as I was distracting them. Just a bit though!

Thanks, I’ll see what I can find in my drafts folder (the camera is packed away with all my other stuff for moving). I like the idea of the 4 elements as a photo challenge.

Thank you! I will try to do the challenge, even if it may take a while – I still have so much photos from Korea to share and I can’t remember having captured ‘fire’ there. I like the silvery colour of your water picture!

Thanks, Sabina. I had wished it to be sharper but the cooks were working fast in that restaurant kitchen and I was on their way, so I had to be fast and click when they allowed me in.

Why don’t you join in the fun? I thought about you but reckoned you’re already busy with writing101, and like me, perhaps struggling to keep all up and running.

You’re so kind, Karen! You’re the best. I’m happy you liked it.
To get fire brought me to a restaurant’s kitchen and I had tremendous fun with the cooks.
Thanks to you I did that.
