Splash of Color

This is a photo of a fresh mint leaf resting on top of a lime juice jug.

I’m posting it to join Justine from Eclecticoddsnsods, who is hosting the Eclectic Corner #8 which is about a Splash of Color.

Here is what it entails:

  • Submit a photograph that depicts a splash of colour, however the catch is, please no apps that take the colour away or de-saturating editing, i.e. please make sure it is a natural splash of colour
  • Submit perhaps your favourite quote that relates to ‘colour’

  1. I notice that glass is not full. Do I detect a hint of white rum…we call that a mojito where I come from. I like the sound of this challenge. I’m still working on last week’s Photo 101!! You putting your name on your photos …how did you do that?

    1. I’m sorry to disappoint you but this was a jug of lime juice splashed with mint leaves. 😉
Check watermark apps and choose one if you want to put your name on photos.
I use either Lightroom or an app from olympus itself.

                  1. Sony RX-10. Hey, I have a question. How do I get my posts to be pieces of the whole post and not the whole post? And how do I get child pages under a parent page in the header.

                    1. I’m not sure if I understand you well. But you mean, using a ‘read more’ function, where you break down the text? If yes, you just need to click the icon ‘read more’ which is the third one from left to right together with all other icons on top of the body of a post.
As to the child pages…are you using pages as pages or categories as pages? I’ll send an email to explain this.

                    2. I WANT to have my posts set up so there IS a “read more” icon. Now, they are the whole post. I want little blocks. Is that called a “grid”?
I don’t know the difference between pages as pages or catgories. I must be using them as pages, because they look like a post, not a place for a bunch of posts.

  2. oooh la la i love this and how did I miss it? Did you put it in the InLinkz cos I didn’t see it and now I feel bad because I didn’t read any posts whilst I was away, just the ones that my email told me when someone had entered the Inlinkz, but seriously didn’t see this boohoo. I love mint btw in my tea, in smoothies, anything, this is as Will would say, ‘fresh’ hehe x

What do you think? I'd love to hear it all.
