My quote goes to those who feel overwhelmed and breathless, when hearing bad news.
News that may have knocked their doors, or of someone they deeply care about.
Not again. Not the ones they love. That’s how it feels.
A crude reality no one can change.
Nor would choose.
Old and tried wounds and sorrow reminding them how it feels.
Reminding once again to make choices.
To be strong for them.
To keep living with purpose.
Till the last breath.
Love Tolkien. And this quote, as many others, is brilliant. Thanks for sharing!

Very true and wise words.
Now is that your photo? I recognise your creepy park I think? Have you overlaid a cemetery in there? Very cool…xxx.

Happy you like it.
My creepy park made an impression on you! Lol
It’s indeed a cemetery with trees. I overlaid a photo of a frozen canal.

Thank you! I needed these words today, when it was quite a difficuld day for me – another day trying to find a good pain killer for my dear old bitch having been diagnosed with bone cancer. Apart from her painful leg she’s quite well and enjoys her little pleasures. It’s not the end of the world, but it was a hard time for me today…

You’re most welcome and I’m very happy that this has helped you too. I’m so sorry to hear about that. It’s not about being or not the end of the world; what you feel is real and painful. I heard news about someone possibly having cancer and that’s what inspired me to do this post. I’ve been there two years ago and lost a brother. I know we can handle but why deny that this pain sucks?
Stay in peace. Hope you get done rest.
Have a lovely weekend.
Cheers!
