It is my second visit to Justine’s blog Eclectic Odds n Sods, to join the The Tea Time event because I promised to bring cake to celebrate my Blog’s one year anniversary.
Justine expected me to bake a cake, but I had no time and would rather bring something that would not disappoint her, as she is a Master Chef UK (I just appointed her).
This is a Raspberry-Champagne cake wrapped in white chocolate. This is my husband’s 2nd love, after me and daughter’s Fleur, of course.
I decided to bring his love-cake to the celebration, because when celebrating this blog’s anniversary, I must thank him the most for being my most patient, thorough and unpaid blog’s editor in chief. I exploit beyond measure his skills as an editor. He’s so dedicated to his role that when I post during the day without his final edition, he finds time during working hours to warn me of typos in posts just published. So…the first slice goes to him!
Enjoy the cake!
Now let’s raise the glasses of champagne…but…err…wait…sorry, we’re still waiting for Andy, Mara and Desley to bring the drinks!
Go there and join the Tea Time #6.
Don’t miss it.
Now WOWEEE I am in love, gosh, now that is posh nosh or what? Seriously, is there a cake that can beat this in sheer elegance and I look so expensive you can’t afford me look, that knocks one’s sock s off, thank you, I shall tuck in nicely to that perfect cake and make a big mess. Did you eat it all yet? lol xxx ps Happy Anniversary again and i am super thrilled at a double entry…i mean post…yikes…runzzz

Staff has resumed work. Lol. However will work less hours per week. French style. We cannot count on them anymore, you’re right. I cannot even fire him as he’s my husband! 😉

you may not be able to fire him, but since he’s family you should be able to light a fire under him when needed!

I like this idea. Let’s call it voluntary and on demand slavery. Should be ok!

since fifty shades is all the rage, you could also go that route and tie him to the desk…just be sure to agree on a safeword first (ok this might be going too far 🙂

Oh ok we will have to save the champagne for another time… Perhaps my visit to Amsterdam ?
But the coffee will do just fine in the meantime!

I am sorry I missed this post. Yum, how good does that look?!?! And raspberry, chocolate, champagne – all of a girl’s favourite things. Fabulous!
Sorry I didn’t bring the drinks, perhaps the empty beer bottles in my latest post might help explain…. xxxx
