The Clinic – Photo101 Rehab is an event for everyone who loves photography.
Here is selfie photo #11 with a story. Check below. .
Back in December 2014 I joined my husband, sis-in-law and bro-in-law to watch their daughter singing with her band for a TV Talk Show, which was being recorded in a cafe in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam.
One of the guests of the talk show was Ilse de Lange, a Dutch singer, who is deservedly super famous. She is also one of the coaches of the program Voice of Holland. I like her a lot. She is non-pretentious, friendly and heartwarming. Her laughter is contagious; I find her very funny. Oh yes, she sings very well, together with her group the Common Linnets.
I was outside in the bar making photos when she left the studio. There were immediately many fans surrounding her for a group-selfie. I didn’t hesitate and captured them.
Enjoy her music.
I used a Olympus E-M10.
Here is what ‘The Clinic Photo Rehab is:
This blog hosted ‘The Photo101 Rehab Clinic’ from 04 to 31 December 2014 and featured over 170 photos made by Photobloggers Andy Townend, Mara Eastern, Cardinal Guzman, DesleyJane, Justine, Amy, Teresa, Albert, Terri, Giving Thought, Ellen, Nalinki, Mariangeles, DwayCrafts, Lucy, Terri, Bampa’s Views, PeaceCrafting, Dreaming of Leaving and Project Easier.
As former patients informed me that the withdrawal symptoms remained active, and new patients recognized the same symptoms, The Clinic – Photo Rehab reopened its doors.
You can do a self-examination. If you detect any of the following symptoms, as carefully described by Albert from the blog Passionately Curious, come and join us: “Withdrawal symptoms may include the incessant need to carry your camera everywhere with you, the need to wake up in the wee hours to take photos during the golden hour, and checking up on others you met during the course to see what their newfound knowledge has brought fruit to.”
How to join:
Time: The Clinic is open 24 x 7 until the healing process ends.
Camera: You can use any camera, from DSLR, mirrorless, compact, to smartphones.
Theme: Bring your creativity and photograph a theme of your liking in B&W or Color. With or without edition. We like learning techniques as well, if you want to share it with everyone.
Who can join: Anyone can join; and not only former Photo 101 bloggers. All you need is passion. Passion to speak up through images – or words, if you may want to add your thoughts to it as well – showing what you see and how much that is important to you.
Thanks for joining and enjoy it.

Question: I’m guessing that I must first publish a post, and THEN insert THAT link into the frog thingy? And not just a link to my site, right?
PS: I know where that bridge in your header photo is.

Thanks, I’ll post a photo soon. I thought I was more a writer than anything, but it turns out I can get through a day, or week, or year without writing anything. But I “have” to take a photograph, or I feel…hmmm…empty, or un-whole. But I still resist post-edit stuff. Don’t know why…or rather, it’s that learning curve.
The bridge is in that area (don’t remember the name of the area) across the water from the Railway station in Amsterdam. It’s a red bridge. I photographed it, but I did not get THAT shot at all. Is yours that same bridge??

You can post a photo here anytime you feel like, and do it the way you wish. There are no rules. We’re a community of bloggers who are passionate about photography and that’s the drive.
So just click and post! No need to post edit.
I mostly don’t do it. When I do it, it’s just a few corrections.
I think we are talking about the same area,,but there are two red bridges in the same canal, and perhaps you made a photo of the other one?

I watch Voice of Holland mostly because of her. She’s a character. Always funny, heartwarming and a great coach.

How cool that you liked the song! By the way this is the song that represented Holland during last year’s European Song Festival and came in 2nd.
Thanks.
