I am joining Lens and Pens by Sally, who hosts each Monday the Phoneography and Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge. Following the link you will learn all you need to participate.
The scheduled theme for this weekly challenge is:.
4th Monday Challenger’s Choice (Pick One: Abstraction, Animals, Architecture, Food Photography, Night Photography, Objects, Portraiture, Still Life, Street Photography, and Travel). (Animals and Objects are themes.)
I have chosen Street Photography. I made these when crossing a small park, called ‘Weteringplantsoen’ in Amsterdam. I found the reflections of the trees as well the pedestrian at the end of the path, very interesting. I used an Iphone5.
Beautiful reflections in a urban setting.
Where is the bridge in your banner photo? It is stunning.

Thank you. Also for visiting the blog. The bridge is in Amsterdam East Harbor modern residential area. It is called Borneo Eiland.

You choice to convert to monochrome adds another layer of drama to these images. The moodiness of the reflections and the grey day draw me into the composition. Happy Photo Challenge.

Thank you! Converting to monochrome didn’t remove much color as it was a gray and dull day.

Wonderful photos. I especially love that first one. The path almost looks like it’s covered with ice. The reflections are beautiful.

I love these photos, the way the trees create emotion….A bit haunting too as the bare trees seem spooky with their spindle-like branches…
The reflection of the partial outlines of the trees in the puddle in the third photo is my favorite (though all three are magnificent!)
Stupendous as always!

Making magic on a gloomy day. The last puddle picture is especially fine.

These are terrific. I particularly like the first one – it has a romantic quality – like a scene from a B&W movie.
