I started blogging in February at Blogger. I had mixed feelings about the new experience and blogged at a very slow pace, while trying to find my space and style. After a few months, I felt that I was in the wrong place. I packed and moved to WordPress. That was the wisest decision I took this year.
Following the courses Blogging 101, 201 and Photography 101, introduced me to what’s blogging all about. I learned so much from the editors, happy engineers, and the community of fellow bloggers, and got so much inspiration from all of them. I am grateful to all of you for helping me finding my voice and identity on the blogosphere.
Heartfelt thanks to all of you, readers, who inspire me and encourage with every like or comment made. I’m indebted for your loyalty and support to my ramblings and photos.
I started writing and adding photos to each post, because photography is one of my passions. Surprisingly, photos started taking a larger than planned space at this blog and I let it be; I’m delighted to have met a community of excellent photographers and grateful for all lessons learned from them.
I most definitely never expected to make friends while blogging. The insightful and fun interactions with such a diverse group or people from many cultures and nationalities, has brought me much joy and personal enrichment. Thank you to you all!
A very special thanks to those who interacted the most and left most comments: Desley Jane from Musings of a Frequent Flying Scientist, Andy Townend from Belgian Streets, Lia from Lifestyles with Lia, Trablog and Justine from Eclecticoddsnsods. You spoiled me and I liked it!
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 8,800 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
