The day is dying
yellow fields reflect the setting sun.
The day is dying,
pastel sky cradles Mother Earth
in a deep embrace.
Birdsong celebrates in shrill echoes,
wings are spread…
the evening dance has begun.
It is a lovely sigh,
fragrant after rain
this dusk.
Peace and pleasure.
Beauty and calm.
The day is dying, yes.

Poems are good. I don’t usually read them.

Hello Betty Louise, what kind of books you like?

I read mostly mysteries, some mysteries. I don’t read many romance because I find myself in the bedroom too often. I don’t like sex or violence.
