Photo101 task asks for the use of light which evokes mystery.

The sunlight is mysterious in itself because it gives a feeling of constant metamorphosis; to remind us that we can accept change in our lives. We can evolve, every day, and start again together with the sun.

I chose the Golden rule by shooting a minute just after sunrise the canal where I live in Amsterdam. This photo was taken with an iPhone 5.

    1. Thanks! I was leaving home early to ho to the airport and this as mysyerious as I could be! 😉
Now at the airport i dont know how can i post on the commons from the app. Do you? Anyways, will be flying in a few minutes. Cheers, thanks for stopping by!

    1. hahaha. Good and new foundations, Mara. Even the old houses had to go through rebuilding their foundations and replace the ‘sticks’ (wooden piles). The ones which didn’t are those bending…

  1. It never ceases to amaze me what people can capture on an iPhone 🙂 I can’t wait to get one again when my current contract expires in February 🙂 Great job with this shot.

  2. I see mystery there too. All conveys to the horizon, as if the clouds were showing a way.. To where? to what?.. and here comes to sun – to be continued… Thanks for the beautiful picture 🙂

  3. The hues in the sky and water reflections are just gorgeous. The deep shadow of the buildings adds a hint of mystery, almost seems devoid of human life.
    Just you and nature.

What do you think? I'd love to hear it all.
