When making a shortcut I stumbled upon these doors at ‘Hemonystraat’, a street in Amsterdam. Here goes again my iphone-photography-ing.
New streets are like strangers and you may feel no connection with it. This perception changes when you see something beautiful there. Street graffiti gives us unexpected beauty; it is a gift from artists, expressing their views of the world, and inviting us to think with them. It is up to us to make sense of what we see, as much as it is, to give back by sharing their art generosity.
This post is about celebration and gratitude. I dedicate it to some of the once strangers-bloggers, who I met at ‘WordPress street’ in the last month of BloggingU courses. They are different and unique, but there are common traits in all of them: genuine interest for others, generosity, intelligence (in all formats), honesty and authenticity. I am grateful and privileged to have met them. They are no algorithims, no more strangers; they are part of my heart.
Thanks to you all for giving me and many others, so much of your best during the last month (in random order): Sandi, Deborah, Colleen, Adrianna, Wendy, Lia, James, Mommas, Frances, Listentothebabe, Indianmacgyver , Martha, April, Estelea, Victo Dolore, tianmiwang, jhackct, Crysta, Terri, Rachel, Carol, Chris, Oxygen4thejourney, Andrea,PhoTrablogger, Perelincolors .
Lovely photo and post!

Some say there is no coincidence in life. If it is true, i feel so lucky to have had these bumps.

true, i tend to think of coincidences as little signs or odd connections our brain makes, not random occurrences. those signs or connections tell us when things are right, leading us to something or somewhere we’re supposed to be. but then other times weird stuff just happens 😉

Beautiful post and thanks for the mention! I love street graffiti too and the art in Amsterdam looks particularly good. My late father-in-law was a keen photographer of street graffiti. His photographs are all still visible online https://www.flickr.com/photos/newtown_grafitti/
