Clap Along If You Know What Happiness Is To You…

I am doing the 30-day Blogging101 course from WordPress, which gives us daily assignments and challenges to discover and sharpen our skills. Now you know why you have seen me posting so actively lately.

Today’s Assignment: publish a post for your dream reader, and include a new-to-you element in it.

So, I am publishing this post for you, my dream reader.

How about inviting you to listen to the music below from Pharrel Williams, which inspired me to imagine who you are?

Since when I was a kid, I was fascinated with the earth, space, and people. I liked to observe everything. I had many questions on how animals, plants, stars, planets, oceans and humans had been created and how they evolved and thrived since their origins and arrived at modern days.

Not all questions were answered through history and science, and I am ok with that to a certain extent. I accept and like the unknown and magic force that still can take my breath away with the sight of the sun rising, the beauty of nature…

I observe, ask questions, and ‘photograph’ answers using words, as the images of the reality as I see it. Mine is just a small piece of the puzzle though that I nevertheless want to share with others, as I am also curious to know reality from their eyes – being it equal or different than mine – as it will enrich and broaden my understanding of the world we live.

Because I am looking for you, I write for you so that you may recognize me. I know that you are out there and I am going to find you. You are not taking the world nor yourself for granted and you search for the truth also from the eyes of others, and in this way you may find me.

When writing my experiences, stories and views, I am aware of them being only perceptions based on my references, values and beliefs, and I am never assuming a position of right or wrong, because I don’t believe in dogmatism as a tool to find the truth  but that it rather resides in the combination of diverse views. I know that you agree with me.

Am I am too pretentious to ask for your attention? In fact, I am after you not only because I want to share my views with you, but because I would love to know your thoughts as well and am sure that there is something that we can learn from each other.

I cannot but have humility to accept our human condition, as beings that are affected by nature forces and/or other humans interactions, evolving each second we breath, from our cells to our ways of thinking. We are not a final product, we are not perfect and that is the only certainty we have found out throughout human existence.

We err, we fail, as much as we make it right and succeed. That is the way life is.  That is how you think as well.

My offer is to take you through the world with my lenses, telling you what I have seen, lived and imagined, or what I have learnt from the many people and places I came across throughout my life, being it family, friends, work, travels, or simply trying to describe to you what I thought when in awe with the beauty of a blue sky.

I am confident that you appreciate life as much as I do, and are humble enough to accept that living every day includes the ugly and the beautiful, and many more contrasting elements that make up the ingredients of our journeys. But above all you know that you, and nobody else already made the choice to be… happy.

Clap along with me and join my ride!
